Tech major Google has withdrawn a recently launched AI feature, just 24 hours after it was introduced, since it was allowing people to create fake images on top of its satellite imagery.

In its original announcement on Thursday, Google stated that the feature could "bring history to life," or "give your favorite place a makeover."
