🔮 Scotland’s dark history of witch trials 🕯️ Between 1563 and 1736, thousands—mostly women—were accused of witchcraft in Scotland, many facing horrific trials and executions. Culross was one such place, where Sir George Bruce supported these tragic events. In 2020, the Witches of Scotland campaign sought justice for the accused. On 8 March 2022, the Scottish government finally issued a pardon and formal apology. A long-overdue moment of recognition for those who suffered. 🎥 @andy_highlander #
