We received a package in the mail from Arnold, one of our followers from Illinois! The package contained an old linoleum cut of manicule (fist used in printing to point at or emphasize text) and some Megill gauge pins for our jobbing press. We are incredibly thankful for this gift! In this video, Howard opens the package and letterpress prints the old linoleum cut. Howard had to build up some underlay in order to print it on the Washington hand press. #SacHistoryMuseum #printmaking #museumtok #l
